Free MOV to AVI Converter is a tool that can convert MOV (QuickTime) video to AVI.

MOV is used primarily with Apple software and devices, but is not supported by all media players. Some open source and freeware players avoid MOV completely due to technical licensing issues and so on.

This tool can convert MOV to AVI with a few clicks, and so should help if you are having compatibility issues with a player.

It will first offer to install multiple third party applications on your computer, all of which you can opt to Decline. Even though the Decline option does not appear to be a clickable option, it does work.
