The program doesn''t block "bad websites", it prevents the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, hijackers, dialers and other potentially unwanted programs. SpywareBlaster can also block Cookies in Internet Explorer, Mozilla and Mozilla Firefox. SpywareBlaster include feature called "Customblocking list". "Customblocking list" allows you make own list which block that you want it block, you have to only know preventable programs CLSID-number. Unknown programs CLSID-number is impossible to get known. You can update SpywareBlaster with update-feature. SpywareBlaster doesn''t run in background, it doesn''t have to because it only modify your regitry in a way that malware cannot be installed.
